What "Black Nobility" Means
The "Black Nobility" designation originates from Italian political history: when Pope Pius IX lost the Papal States to Italian unification in 1870, certain aristocratic Roman families who remained loyal to the Pope refused to acknowledge the new Italian kingdom. They were called "Black" โ in mourning for the Pope's temporal power. More broadly, the term is used by GA researchers to describe the ancient noble families of Venice, Genoa, and Rome โ primarily: Orsini, Colonna, Borgia, Farnese, Aldobrandini, Borghese, Pamphilj, Chigi, Odescalchi, Pallavicini, and Medici โ whose accumulated power and wealth predates the rise of banking families like the Rothschilds by centuries.
The historical record of these families is not disputed in itself โ their role in papal politics, banking, and European governance over 600-900 years is well documented. What GA researchers argue is that these families did not lose power when their visible aristocratic roles diminished โ they transferred their power into the modern institutional framework, maintaining continuity of control through banking relationships, Catholic institutional command, and strategic marriages into the new industrialist and banking elites of the 19th century.
Venice โ The Original Cabal Capital
From the 12th to the 17th centuries, Venice was the dominant financial and trading power in the Mediterranean. The Venetian oligarchy โ a closed group of noble families who controlled the Republic through the Council of Ten and the Doge system โ developed the most sophisticated financial instruments, intelligence networks, and covert political manipulation techniques of the medieval world. GA researchers argue that when Venice's commercial dominance declined, its intellectual and financial elite migrated north โ to Amsterdam, then to London, establishing the banking practices, intelligence methodologies, and oligarchic political models that became the template for modern Western elite governance.
Farnese: Pope Paul III (who authorised the Jesuits in 1540). The Farnese-Jesuit connection is one of the most significant in GA research. Aldobrandini: Pope Clement VIII, and multiple families married into Rothschild lineage (confirmed). Borghese: Pope Paul V, significant land holdings in Rome, connected to SMOM. Chigi: Connected to Banco di Monte dei Paschi di Siena โ the world's oldest surviving bank (1472), confirmed in 2013 to have been laundering money for the Mafia and other criminal networks. Orsini and Colonna: The two most ancient Roman families, with documented connections continuing into 21st-century Italian elite networks.
The Apex Above the Rothschilds?
Researcher Eustace Mullins and others argue that the Rothschild banking dynasty โ typically presented as the apex of the Cabal โ are themselves agents of the Black Nobility: that the Rothschilds perform the operational banking function for bloodline families whose roots run deeper and whose power operates through the Church, through noble land holdings, and through centuries of intermarriage with every major European royal house. In this model, the Black Nobility families are the true apex โ using banking dynasties as their financial instruments.
