Category I โ€” Water & No Curvature

1โ€“5

Standing Water Is Always Flat

The surface of all standing water at rest is flat. Lakes, reservoirs, ponds, the ocean โ€” no measuring instrument has ever detected the 8-inch-per-mile-squared curvature that a globe of Earth's radius demands. The Suez Canal, Erie Canal, and every other major canal was built using flat water level as the baseline with no curvature allowance. (See: Water Finds Its Level)

6โ€“10

Long-Distance Visibility

The Chicago skyline visible from 60 miles across Lake Michigan; the Eddystone Lighthouse visible 24 nautical miles; the mountains of Morocco visible from Gibraltar (14 miles); the Himalayan peaks visible from 200 miles on clear days โ€” all impossible if globe curvature hid them below the horizon. (See: Horizon & Perspective)

Category II โ€” No Movement of Earth Detected

11โ€“20

Gyroscopes & Level Flight

Pilots flying long distances do not adjust their pitch to "follow the curve" of the Earth. If Earth curved 8 inches per mile, a plane maintaining level flight (gyroscope-stable horizontal) would gradually fly out into space. Pilots make no such corrections. The gyroscope maintains level relative to the flat Earth surface that it actually is โ€” not a curved surface.

21โ€“30

No Measurable Coriolis on Small Scales

The Coriolis effect (the deflection of moving objects due to Earth's supposed rotation) is claimed to affect hurricanes and large-scale wind patterns. But it has never been measured in controlled experiments on small scales. Draining bathtubs do not rotate in a consistent direction based on hemisphere โ€” controlled experiments show random variation. If Earth spun at 1,000 mph at the equator, Coriolis would be measurable at small scales.

Category III โ€” Stars & Navigation

31โ€“50

Polaris & Stellar Consistency

Polaris remains fixed at latitude degrees above horizon from every Northern Hemisphere point without exceptions. Star trails circle perfectly around this fixed point. Constellations have not measurably changed in the few thousand years of astronomical records โ€” consistent with fixed dome stars, not distant suns moving at varying proper motions through space. (See: Polaris, Stars on the Dome)

Category IV โ€” Flight & Navigation

51โ€“75

Southern Hemisphere Route Anomalies

Sydney to Johannesburg, Buenos Aires to Cape Town, Auckland to Santiago โ€” all route through northern cities or via Perth detouring west when direct southern routes would be shorter on a globe. (See: Southern Flight Paths)

Category V โ€” Sun, Moon & Physics

76โ€“110

Moon's Own Light, Tidal Anomalies, Perspective Sunsets

Moonlight is independently cooling in photonic thermometer experiments; simultaneous opposite-horizon moon and sun during "lunar eclipses" (selenelion) contradicts globe geometry; the sun "setting" fully below the horizon can be recaptured with zoom lens โ€” perspective, not curve. (See: Local Moon, Sun's Circuit, Horizon)

Category VI โ€” Science, History & Government

111โ€“150

Government Admissions & Flat Reference Planes

The FAA, USGS, and engineering standards all use flat plane assumptions for construction and aviation calculations beyond what "small area approximation" can justify. GPS satellite math uses flat-earth coordinate systems (ECEF/WGS84) that work with flat assumptions applied to surface geometry. NASA's own early rocket trajectory equations (pre-Sputnik era) used flat Earth non-rotating models.

Atmosphere & Electromagnetic Properties

Radio waves transmitted over the horizon (not possible with straight-line EM on a globe without significant atmospheric bending) routinely bounce off the ionosphere and reach distances consistent only with propagation above a flat plane. Early Marconi trans-Atlantic transmissions defied all globe model predictions of signal range.

Logical & Cosmological Arguments

The universe model (billions of galaxies, infinite space, purposeless) was constructed post-Copernicus and has never been directly observed โ€” only inferred from instruments and models that assume the heliocentric globe framework. Every "proof" of the globe model uses the globe model's assumptions as its starting point. This is not evidence โ€” it is circular validation.

These 200 proofs are comprehensively documented in Eric Dubay's book and video series. Beyond these 200, flat earth researchers have continued documenting additional proofs through atmospheric physics, electromagnetic propagation, and oceanographic surveys.
